What file formats does ZephRead open?
ZephRead supports PDF, EPUB, CBZ, Markdown, MOBI, AZW3 and TXT. CBZ image books resume at the saved page; text selection and highlights are not available in CBZ.
Do I need to upload my books or documents?
No. Local reading never requires an upload. Only files you explicitly select for optional sync leave the device.
Do I need an account?
No account is required for local reading. An account is used only for optional cross-device sync and subscription management.
What does the Free sync plan include?
A signed-in Free account may sync one cloud file up to 20 MB, including its reading position and highlights.
What does paid membership include?
Paid membership provides 5 GB total cloud storage, files up to 200 MB and up to five devices. It costs US$1.99 monthly or US$14.99 yearly.
