Local reading remains free. Paid membership adds optional cloud capacity and cross-device benefits.
Plans and value
The approved United States reference prices are US$3.89 per month and US$24.99 per year. The final localized price, currency, taxes and offer terms displayed by Microsoft Store before purchase control. Paid membership provides 5 GB cloud storage, files up to 200 MB, up to five devices, and file, position, highlight, note and library-metadata sync.
Trial and renewal
Neither current Windows plan includes a trial. Monthly and annual plans renew automatically at the price displayed by Microsoft Store until cancelled.
Free use, management and refunds
A subscription is not required for local reading. Manage or cancel a Windows purchase in Microsoft account Services & subscriptions. Cancellation normally takes effect after the current paid period; refund rights depend on Microsoft Store and applicable law.
Account-level scope and expiry
A verified purchase is linked to the signed-in ZephRead account. Membership applies only to products expressly listed as participating at the time; Zeph Read for Windows is the only current release participant, and no future product is promised. Duplicate subscriptions do not stack and must be cancelled separately. Expiry never deletes local files; excess cloud data receives a 30-day retention period before Free limits are enforced.
